Aged a couple of years in large oak vats the aroma has hints of spice and wood with a slight wood and citrus body. The finish, compared to other amber rhums from Martinique, is fairly short but characterized by balanced wood and sugar cane notes.

The nose offers scents of oaky vanilla, rum cake, holiday fruitcake, black pepper, cigar tobacco and nutmeg. The palate entry is sweet and moderately oily; the midpalate boasts flavors of butter cream, dark chocolate, cream sherry, cola, citrus, and honey. Ends on an opulent sweet caramel-like note. Dark, oak-aged rum at its finest.

The opening aroma is marvelously beany and grassy; later, sweetish flavors of dark caramel, chimney soot, and dark, old honey make scrumptious inhaling. The palate entry is honeyed, warm, and cocoa-like; at midpalate the grassy, weedy, cane-like taste balances the honeyed sweetness. Concludes cocoa-like, intense yet smooth, and memorably sweet.

Aged in new Limousin French oak barrels of about 250 liter capacity, Neisson Rhum Agricole 18 year old rhum embraces a rich mahogany hue with notes of spice, warm wood and dark fruit on the nose. The entry is velvet smooth with a warm mouthfeel with slightly more oak flavors than Neisson 15, cinnamon, warm wood and sugar cane leading to a warm smoky oak finish.

A rich sugarcane flavor that has beautiful viscosity on the palate. The rich golden color is a simple result from the time it has been naturally aged in re-charred Bourbon barrels for a period of 12 months. Raw sugarcane and warm gingerbread flavors are softened by hints of vanilla and hazelnuts from this short time in oak.

Aged in a combination of new American oak and re-charred Bourbon barrels, J.M VO aged Rhum Agricole is robust and spirited. The rum greets you with a supreme balance between fresh wood, warm spice, alluring field blossoms and dried fruit. On the palate, flavors of smoke and hardwood char from the BBQ lead back to dried cloves, figs, with a glorious finish of licorice and toasted sugar.

The glorious J.M V.S.O.P. is created by aging rhum 3 years in re-charred Bourbon barrels and finishing the rhum an additional year in lightly toasted new American oak barrels and finally reduced to 43 % ABV with pure volcanic spring water from Habitation Bellevue to create an extraordinary aged rhum that retains qualities of the natural terroir and sugarcane of Habitation Bellevue. Expect to find nougaty richness with cinnamon and clove aromas, flavors of spiced butter and lemony toffee, which leads into a smooth and subtle finish.

Avuá Bálsamo Cachaça is hand-crafted and aged up to two years in bálsamo wood casks, a high density, burgundy colored hardwood native to South and Central America. These tall trees with a fine grain impart a herbaceous aroma with a flavor that hints at minerality, citrus and bitterness.

Avuá Jequitibá Rosa Aged Cachaça Single-sourced from the hills of Carmo, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Hand-crafted and aged up to two years in a jequitibá rosa cask, a high density, dark-colored hardwood found only in central and southern Brazil. Produced in a single barrel, this jequitibá rosa aged cachaça is our third offering in a series of native wood experiments. The large vertical cask of dark, rich wood imparts a light fruity aroma with a delicate yet slightly bitter flavor.

Avuá Prata Cachaça is rested in stainless steel casks before being hand bottled. The result is a lush, crisp spirit with subtle floral notes with hints of lemongrass, yeast and lime.

Avuá Tapinhoã Cachaça is aged in tapinhoã wood, an extremely rare hardwood found in parts of South America. The spirit is aged in a barrel used decades ago by our distiller's father. After a lengthy recommissioning process, and up to 2 years of aging, we are proud to offer our second unique Brazilian wood offering. This wood imparts flavors of toasted coconut, fresh honeycomb, and caramel. The soft, sweet notes imparted by the wood create the perfect sipping spirit.

Leblon Cachaca

A Brazilian Cachaça made from freshly-cut sugar cane juice. Leblon is aged in French oak XO Cognac casks for up to three months, and offers a complex palate of vegetal, herbal notes.

Produced in small batches using Alembic copper pot stills and aged in XO Cognac casks. Blended across batches for flavor complexity, body and aroma. Fresh, fruity nose with a smooth, sweet taste and creamy, citrusy vanilla finish.

Yaguara Ouro

Yaguara is an organic Brazilian cachaça made by a fifth-generation family owned producer. This is aged in a combination of three types of wood: American oak, Cabreuva and Amburana – the latter two of which are native to Brazil. This works well neat as well as in cocktails.
